How I Approach Supervision
Good supervision is about more than just “getting the hour.” It is about developing you as a professional while supporting you as a person. I approach supervision sessions with intention and undivided attention. We will work collaboratively and both set the agenda so your individual needs are met along with the board’s requirements.
I bring 10+ years of Social Work experience to the table including: Psychotherapy with individuals and groups, case management, hospital social work, advocacy and program development. I have worked with teens, adults, domestic violence and human trafficking survivors, persons who are HIV+, those struggling with addiction or homeless, immigrant and refugee populations, LGBTQ+ persons, social work in faith settings, critically ill patients, therapy in the school setting, and children’s behavioral health.
